Serving Agriculture for over 50 Years
The company was founded more than 50 years ago as Seven Limers Inc. In March of 1948, seven ex G.I.'s formed Seven Limers with the intent of hauling and spreading lime and fertilizer both on their farms and for hire. Their motto was, "Lime to Seven with the Seven Limers". The business was operated from the homes of two of the owners until 1959 when the company merged with the Kelly Coal Yard and moved to Wolfe Street in Bellevue. At this location they operated a fertilizer warehouse, coal yard, asphalt paving and trucking business. In 1967, the Bin Division was added. this office was located on southwest Street behind the local bank. The fertilizer office was still at the Wolfe Street location. The Bin Division covered the sale and service of all related farm grain storage, drying and handling equipment. The company also did all of the erection of the drying bins. In 1975, the fertilizer division was sold and the company concentrated its effort on the sale, erection and service of grain storage bins, asphalt paving, and trucking of stone. In 1978, the corporation purchased the Case operated store located on U.S. Route 20, Bellevue, Ohio. Since the acquisition of the Case store in 1978, the company has added many complimentary product lines to its Implement Division. These lines include Simplicity, Stihl, Agco, Gleaner, Massey Ferguson, New Idea, White, Sunflower, Great Plains, Bush Hog, Toro, Demco Sprayers, and Kill-Bros. The three divisions operated independently until 1993 when the company built a new facility. The new consolidated facility houses the Seven Limers Bin Division, Seven Limers Implement Division, 7L Construction, and KAS Trucking.
